Retour aux sources — Rencontre avec Marianne Olry à Marseille

Back to Our Roots — A Meeting with Marianne Olry in Marseille

April 22, 2026, from 10 AM to 7 PM
63, cours Julien — 13006 Marseille — Free admission

Forty years after her debut in Marseille, Marianne Olry returns. On April 22nd, the BAIXE boutique is pleased to welcome her for an exceptional day, featuring a meeting, sharing, and handcrafted jewelry made since the 80s.

Marianne Olry

A self-taught artist trained in costume design, Marianne Olry collaborated with houses such as Dior and Thierry Mugler before dedicating her work to resin jewelry. Since the 80s, she has been handcrafting each piece in her Parisian workshop in the Marais, inherited from her photographer father.

Resin, as transparent as glass yet more malleable, is at the heart of her work. She crafts shapes that evoke minerals, ice, wood, stars: jewelry that is both modern and timeless, recognizable by its iridescent reflections and shimmering plays of color. From the Brittany of her childhood, with its telluric landscapes, to the Champagne vineyards of Bérulle where she lives today.

Her work is featured in MoMA stores in New York, in the collections of the Museum of Arts and Design in New York, and referenced in several specialized galleries in France and Europe. The New York Times dedicated a mention to her among essential jewelry designers.

Marseille, at the beginning

Marseille is not just another stop in Marianne Olry's journey: it's where it all began. She launched her business there in 1986. This return, forty years later, to cours Julien, resonates as a return to her roots.

What awaits you on April 22nd

For this unique day at BAIXE, Marianne will exclusively present her new pieces from the Meteorites, Stalla, Bulle, Calder collections… as well as a brand new collection: "Petites Sardines."

She will share her artisanal work processes, answer all your questions, and invite you to try on her jewelry directly.

Free admission. Come meet her, discover her universe, and raise a toast with her.
